Uplands is a fine listed Georgian manor which dates from 1780 and retains many original features. The house stands in its own extensive, private grounds and has many attractive features.

Uplands is a specialist Independent Hospital providing a high standard of care for people suffering from enduring mental health problems and who require long-term or slow stream rehabilitation. We are registered for up to 30 adults between the ages of 18 and 65 years including placement for those subject to a detention order under the Mental Health Act 1983.

A multi-disciplinary mental health team of professionals work closely to develop the care and treatment plans for each resident. Continuous assessment and review subject to close monitoring assures the quality of services at all time.
